A whimsical look through the eyes of those who live in the author’s mythical Corbett Hill.  Within the corridors of Sherwood’s mind, his beloved village has been transformed into a bustling metropolis, including funeral homes, law offices, restaurants, a chamber of commerce, and a major university with its accompanying university research hospital.  It is from within the walls of those institutions and the people that run them that a thousand comical situations were conceived and born.

Corbett Hill could be any crossroads or junction in our beloved Southland.  The book would be just as comfortable titled Hanging out in Lizard Lick (A real North Carolina village), Hanging out in Possum Creek, Arkansas or Timbuktu, Georgia, Alabama or Mississippi.
